Governor’s Rule Impose In Jammu And Kashmir
09 January, New Delhi
Governor’s Rule has been imposed in Jammu and Kashmir. The state is without a government following the death of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Saturday, Union Minister Jitender Singh said that Governor’s rule has been imposed in the state for now.
This is the second time in past one year that governor’s rule has been imposed in the state.
Earlier, such rule was imposed in the state in January last year after assembly polls of 2014 threw a hung verdict.
