Govt. Cut Natural Gas Price By 8 % To $ 4.66 Per Unit

The price of natural gas was Tuesday cut by about eight per cent to 4.66 dollars per unit in sync with the softening international prices, a move which islikely to lower electricity and fertiliser costs.

Oil Ministry’s pricing cell, PPAC said domestically produced natural gas will cost 4.66 dollars per millionBritish thermal unit from April 1 to September 30 on grossclarofic value basis (GCV) as opposed to 5.05 dollars permmBtu currently.
