Govt. Of India Declares National Mourning March 29 On Demise Of Singapore Ex –PM Lee

Government has decided to observe National Mourning on Sunday, 29th of this month to mark respect to the Former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew.
An official release said, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country and there will be no official entertainment on the day.
Lee Kuan Yew, the statesman and founding father of Singapore, who transformed Singapore from a small port city into a wealthy global hub, died at the age of 91 on 23rd of this month.
Lee served as the city-state’s prime minister for 31 years and continued to work in government until 2011.
