Haryana Govt. To Adopt Farm Income Insurance Scheme

The Haryana Government is considering to adopt Farm Income Insurance Scheme.

The Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management Minister told the State Assembly Wednesday that the government has reviewed the working of various existing agriculture insurance schemes like the area based National Agriculture Insurance Scheme and weather based Agriculture Insurance schemes.

He said that it has been observed that the farmers are not eager to come forward to pay the premium in the present format of schemes.
