Hate Story’ A Massive Hit, Earns 200 % Profit

Riding on its strong brand value, its thrill, erotic element and its hit music, ‘Hate Story 3’ has turned out to be a massive hit at the box office, earning nearly Rs 42 crore at the box office.

The film, made at a cost of just Rs 14 crore, has proved to be a big earner at the box office, earning a profit of 200 per cent.The film took an excellent start, earning Rs 26.82 crore in its opening weekend, surpassing the opening weekend collections of big films like Piku and ‘Badlapur.

With earnings of Rs 42 crore, ‘Hate Story 3′ has surpassed the earnings of the earlier two films of the franchise.Experts in film trade say the box office performance of the film is superb.With the audiences still flocking to the theatres, trade analysts feel the film could easily cross the figure of Rs 50 crore in terms of its earnings.’Hate Story 3’ is the second film featuring a little known star cast , after ‘Pyar Ka Panchnaana 2’, to do excellent business this year.

‘Pyar ka Panchnaama 2’ had done business of Rs 64 crore.The success of the film has also come as a shot in the arm for its lead actor Karan Singh Grover, who earlier this year had also featured alongside Bipasha Basu in the film ‘Alone’Directed by Vishal Pandya, Hate Story 3 features Sharman Joshi, Zareen Khan, Karan Singh Grover and Daisy Shah in key roles.
