I Will Accept Whatever Decision BJP Takes Against Me: Azad
10 January, Kochi
BJP leader Keerti Azad, MP,Sunday said that he will accept whatever decision taken against him by the party in connection with certain adverse remarks made by him against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Azad said, Whatever decision they take, I will honour it. But I think, nobody can threaten me, because I am freedom fighter. Nobody can threaten me for fighting against corruption, he said, while replying to a question on the move of expel him from the party in this regard.
I shall do that to the last drop of my blood or breathe I have in my body. It is for the future of our children and we should be together in fighting the corruption, the former test cricketer said.
Regarding convening the Parliamentary party meeting of the BJP, the MP said, “I am so happy that at last the party has recognised me and the Parliamentary board meeting is specially being held for whether I should be expelled or not. I have been a sincere solider of the party since 24 years.
I honour my party. The notice that I got, had nothing to do with the Delhi District Cricket Association. Everything was started with the DDCA. So does it mean that it should be called as anti-party activities, or else have I violated the norms and regulations advocated by my party,” Mr Azad queried
