IAF makes debut on facebook on its 84th anniversary

T he Indian Air Force finally started its innings with social media by opening a facebook page on its 84th founding day Saturday.

With a motto of “power to punish”, the IAF has updated its profile page with its front-line of aircraft Su-30 MKI.

Air Chief Arup Raha’s congratulatory message and a short film made on the occasion was among its maiden posts.

The IAF is the last one among three forces to step into social media with Army taking the lead in this regard.

The navy was the second to follow the foot step which started its twitter handle recently.
