Immediate Steps Will Be Taken To Reduce Prices Of Essential Medicines :JP Nadda

Union Health Minister JP Nadda has said that immediate steps will be taken to reduce the prices of essential medicines.

He said in Thiruvananthapuram that he would hold discussions with Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers in this regard.

He gave this assurance, during his discussions with Kerala Health Minister VS Shivakumar.

Nadda also assured that the proposed All India Institute of Medical Sciences promised for Kerala, would soon become a reality.

He said a high-level expert team from the Centre would visit Kerala to study the proposals submitted by the State Government.

In its proposal submitted to the Centre, the state had suggested four sites, for setting up the proposed All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
