India A 176/4 at stumps in reply to Australia’s 469/7

India A were 176/4 after 51 overs at close of the play on day 2 in reply to Australia who declared their first innings 469/7 in the three day warm-up match at Brabourne Stadium here Saturday.

India at stumps were 176/4 on day 2, Iyer 85 and Pant 3 remained unbeaten.India A trail by 293 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the 1st innings.

Iyer who came at no 3 managed to rescue his team from trouble after openers struggled. Along with Herwadkar 4 went to pavillion when score was 19. Panchal 36 added 44 runs with 2nd wicket partnership, added 57 with Bawne 25, Hardik Pandya 19 added 52 run with him. Iyer’s 85 off 93 hitting 7 fours and 5 sixes is at crease. Pant at score of 3 also remains unbeaten. For Australia Jackson Bird and Lyon bagged two wickets each.
