India Offers To Make SAARC Countries Polio Free

India Government Wednesday has come forward to make the SAARC countries Polio free.
Talking to reporters after the 5th meeting of the Health Ministers of SAARC countries in New Delhi, Health Minister JP Nadda said that a resolution has been adopted in this regard and a comprehensive strategy will be developed to make the SAARC region polio free.
Nadda stressed that the SAARC countries have to work together for promoting public health, preventing disease and ensure high quality of health of the citizens.
He said, unseasonal rainfall and changes in weather pattern have led to change in disease pattern as well.
The Minister said, SAARC countries must work together to mitigate and contain the adverse impact of climate change.
