India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 138 crore 34 lakh mark

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed 138 crore 34  lakh mark.

Out of the total vaccination, more than 83 crore  vaccine doses have been administered as first dose, while over 55 crore 43 lakh doses have been administered as second dose.

Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said, more than 64 lakh   vaccine doses were administered till 11 PM today.

So far 88 per cent of eligible population have received the first dose.

As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, the Centre is supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.

According to official sources in Odisha over 2.13 lakh doses administered today .So far the total vaccination crossed 4.76 crore in the state.  BM
