Industry Bodies Welcome Rail Budget, Term It Progressive and Forward Looking

Industry bodies have welcomed the Rail budget. President-designate of Confederation of Indian Industry, CII Sumit Mazumdar said that it is a progressive and forward-thinking budget and it has laid down a roadmap, which will help the Railways in the years to come.

FICCI’s Saurabh Sood termed the rail budget as different and well-balanced. He said, Ministry of Railways has done a lot of homework to address various issues.

ASSOCHAM president Rana Kapoor applauded the Budget. He said it is an effort to make Railways customer-focused and it assures the passengers and industrial consumers of better services.
