Innovation Is Key To Progress and Prosperity : President Mukherjee

President Pranab Mukherjee today said that innovation is the key to progress and prosperity. He said this while inaugurating a week long ‘Festival of Innovations’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The President said, innovation encourages the engagement of talent with the society to improve the quality of life.

Asserting that India has the potential to be at the fore front of innovation, he called upon all the innovators present in the occasion to continue generating ingenious solutions to overcome poverty, create employment and make the society better.

Mukherjee also gave away National Biennial Awards for Grassroots Innovations and also interacted with a new batch of Innovation Scholars in-Residence and Writers In-Residence.
