International Pepper Meet in Mysuru From Nov 22

International pepper community will meet to discuss ways to boost black pepper production in Karnataka which cultivates this spice on a large scale at the 43rd International Pepper Community summit here from November 22.

Pratap Simha, Mysuru MP, who is also a member of Spices Board, said the meeting gains significance with Karnataka emerging as one of the largest producers of black pepper.

More than 300 delegates are expected to participate in the event that will discuss topics such as pepper cultivation, processing, marketing and other aspects.

Simha, in a release here, said delegates from the worlds largest black pepper producer Vietnam would participate to the meet and a trade agreement with that country was expected to be signed.
