IPL -08 : RCB Annihilate DD By Ten Wickets

In the Second IPL Match at Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi, Chris Gayle’s breezy knock 62 off 42 enabled Royal Challengers Bangalore to register a crushing win over host Delhi Dare Devils .

RCB defeated DD by ten wickets in 10.3 overs . This is RCB’s third win from 6 matches in this edition while registering 8th successive win against DD in the IPL.

Captain Virat kohli who played with composer made 35 off 23 balls .

Varun Aaron was Man of the Match for his figure 2/24 . He took wickets of Yuvraj Singh and Angelo Mathews cheaply.

The DD bowlers were let down by the poor show of their batsmen .

Earlier , RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first and proved right right as Mitchell Starc Took first wicket in form of Shreyas Iyer in the very first over when the score was 2.The RCB bowlers bind the DD batsmen in their fine spells.

The host Delhi Dare Devils performed poorly against Royal Challengers Bangalore and were bundled out for a paltry 95 runs .

RCB exhibited brilliant bowling performances to skittle out the hosts at 18.2 overs . Excepting three batsmen – Kedar Jadav (33) , Mayank Agarwal 27) and Captain Jean-Paul Duminy (13), no DD player could touch double digit.

In face of regular fall of wickets, Kedar Jadav had tried to resurrect the innings . But after he got out off Mitchell Starc , DD never recovered as the batsmen struggled to make an impact.

For RCB While Starc took three wickets, Varun Aaron and David Wiese bagged two wickets each while harshal patel and Iqbal Abdulla took one wicket each.

DD played seven matches and won in three matches.
