J&K Lawyers’ Cease Work Protesting Against Release of Militant Masarat

In Jammu and Kashmir, the lawyers in all the sub-ordinate courts, including State High Court, Thursday suspended the work against the release of hardline separatist Masarat Alam.

Advocates, under the banner of Bar Association of Jammu, abstained from the work. They condemned the release of Masarat Alam and the seditious statement made by him after the release.

The Lawyers termed the release unfortunate and demanded the re-arrest of Alam.
