JKLF chief Yasin Malik taken into preventive custody in Srinagar

Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Mohammad Yasin Malik was today taken into preventive custody to prevent him from attending a programme in the downtown.
A spokesman of the Front said that Malik was taken into custody from Abi Guzar area of the civil lines this afternoon by police.
He has been lodged in police station Kothibagh, the spokesperson said, adding that Malik was to attend a programme organised by both the Hurriyat factions in the downtown Tuesday.
