Former Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi’s son Ruchir is all set to start a new innings in cricketing politics of Rajasthan with the junior Modi getting elected as the President of the Alwar District Cricket Association.

According to reports, Ruchir is eyeing to gain the control over Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), which is led by his father.

However, the senior Modi, who has been banned from the BCCI after being accused of misconduct, indiscipline and financial irregularities, has taken shelter in England and is not willing to return home amidst controversies.

Earlier, the RCA was also banned for two years by the national board.
