Metro Rail Proposals For Nine Cities Under Consideration Of Central Govt : Venkaiah Naidu

Union Minister for Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu has said that the Government is considering metro rail proposals of nine cities across the country with a total length of 223 kilometres costing a total of 83,000 crore rupees.

While flagging off the new metro railway line in Bengaluru today Naidu said that India is emerging as the manufacturing hub of the metro rail cars for domestic needs as well as for exports.

Union Minister for Law and Justice, D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah and various state ministers were also present on the occasion.
