My Home Group forays into Solar Power with PuREnergy

ABJA Power, formerly My Home power Pvt Ltd, signed an MoU with PuREnergy, a company incubated at IIT Hyderabad focusing on innovative solar energy solutions. The MoU covers My Home Group’s foray into solar power segment focusing on rooftop and utility scale projects catering towards residential, commercial and industrial segments.
This alliance will execute joint projects in the areas of smart and innovative solar systems; IoT based energy management, health monitoring/diagnosis of solar plants, skill development and R and D activities. My Home Group is a business conglomerate based out of Hyderabad with interests mainly in the business of cement, construction, power and education, a statement here said today.
This arrangement will focus on power projects on the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & construction) model.
On the occasion, Dr Rameswar Rao Jupally, Chairman My Home Group, said Our Group committed to develop sustainable projects. “With this motive we have partnered with PuREnergy for providing smart and innovative solar Systems,” he said.He expressed confidence the project will go long way to support the vision of our dynamic Chief Minister, Government of Telangana towards implementation of Green Energy Sustainable development and also to achieve the target set up by Government of India by the year 2022.
Roy Chowdhury, Director & CEO, ABJA Power said, “With this collaboration we wanted to make difference in the solar energy sector by coming up with smart and innovative solar energy systems which are controlled and operated by IOT technology (Internet of things).”Dr Nishanth Dongari, Founder PuREnergy and Assistant Professor at IIT Hyderabad, said, “We have taken this initiative to build smarter and greener buildings on massive scale for a safer and better future of this country.” “We have plans to enter into large scale utility projects in the upcoming solar parks across the nation,” he added.
