Nigerian woman allegedly gang-raped in moving car in Delhi, 4 arrested

A Nigerian woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving car by four men in Delhi Friday . The woman was found unconscious at the DND toll plaza near Mayur Vihar in east Delhi around 2 AM.

According to the police all the four accused, who are residents of Mayur Vihar, have been arrested. The vehicle in which the crime took place has also been seized. A case under sections of gangrape has been registered at Mayur Vihar police station.

The police also said the woman was picked up by the four men from outside a mall in south Delhi. She was sexually assaulted inside the car and after that the victim was dumped at a toll plaza in Chilla village adjacent to Mayur Vihar.

The toll plaza staff informed the police who took her to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital for a Medical check-up. The accused men also snatched the woman’s bag containing cash and her mobile phone. The Nigerian woman was on a tourist visa in India.
