Odisha: 19 Maoist supporters surrender in Malkangiri

As many as 19 Maoists supporters surrendered before the police in Malkangiri district of Odisha on Saturday.

The Maoists were active members of Darva Division, which is a Maoist organization. Many cases have been registered against them at different police stations in the state.

Malkangiri Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sandeep Madkar and 202 Cobra battalion – Assistant Chief Commandant- Sudhendra Singh and Babu Singh assured that the rehabilitation of the reformed Maoists would be taken care of by the government.
