He described the Kalinganagar steel plant as the largest single location steel plant project in the country and said the company is going to invest Rs 2,000 crore in iron ore and mining operation in the state in coming years to serve the plant.
The Gopalpur Industrial Park and Multi-Product Special Economic Zone(SEZ) in the state set up by the Tata Steel would also attract investment to the tune of Rs 10,000 crore,
Mistry said adding that the 55,000 tpa Ferro chrome plant with an investment of Rs 500 crore, would serve as anchor tenant for the SEZ and would be commissioned by early 2016.
