Odisha To Lift Restrictions On Visit Of Foreign Tourists To Tribal Pockets

The Odisha government is all set to lift the restrictions after three years on the visit of foreign tourists to certain tribal pockets in the state.

It has decided to offer restricted tribal tourism to foreigners to boost the sector and generate more revenue.

More than 71,000 foreign tourists visited Odisha last year.

Odisha is home to 62 tribal communities, including 13 categorized as vulnerable tribal groups.
