One Crore Youth Will Be Provided Jobs In Next Two Years : Union Minister Dattatrey

Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatrey said that one crore youth all over the country would be provided employment in coming two years.

He was addressing audience after inaugurating the sub regional office of Employees Provident Fund Organisation at Rohtak Monday.

He said that increasing unemployment is a matter of concern and government is committed to create more employment opportunities.

Minister said that Make in India programme of the country is targeted at increasing investment in industry sector and creating employment. He said that labourers would be given training under Skill India programme so that they could get jobs in the industrial sector.

Dattatrey said that there are unclaimed 27 crore rupees in various EPF accounts all over the country.

He said that a country level campaign would be launched to recognise the real claimants of these accounts. He said that 46 crore labourers would be provided social security too.

On this occasion Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu said that for coordination between labourers and industry is must for industrial development in the country.

He also appealed to the minister to launch some plan for economical development of labourers of agricultural sector too.
