Pakistan has said that it may grant non-discriminatory market access status to India and the two countries are moving towards sealing a deal to liberalise trade.

Pakistan Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan told media persons in Islamabad that there is an incorrect perception that Most Favoured Nation, MFN, means giving India extraordinary market access. That is why, he said, it has been decided to replace MFN with non-discriminatory market access status.
