PM Asks S Korean CEOs To Invest As A group In India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday suggested that major South Korean companies could invest as a group in a region of India, on the lines of the pattern followed in their country.

He made this comment when senior chief executive officers (CEOs) from South Korea, who are here for the Indo-Korea Business Summit, called on him.

The Prime Minister invited Korean companies to step up their investments in India and to ”Make in India”, which would also imply “Make for India”.The CEOs discussed possibilities of enhancing business cooperation between the two countries.

Modi appreciated the ethics and professionalism of Korean industry, which had made Korean brands household names in India, an official statement here said.
