PM chairs cabinet meeting on Security situation on LoC

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security and discussed the security scenario in the wake of the surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the LoC.

Sources said, during the meeting the Prime Minister was briefed about the situation on the LoC as well as the hinterland.

During the Cabinet meeting, it is believed that Mr. Modi has cautioned the ministers on making comments over the strike. He is also understood to have told them that only authorized people should speak on the issue.
