PM Modi says Cabinet decision gives major boost to MSME sector

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that today’s Cabinet decision is a big boost for MSME sector and a major step towards creating the next generation of Indian business leaders. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that it offers a platform for SMEs to scale up, adopt advanced technologies, expand manufacturing, enter global markets and integrate with global value chains.

The Prime Minister added that the Cabinet has approved the setting up of the Integrated Transport & Logistics Authority (ITLA) to bring greater coordination, data-led planning and multimodal integration across India’s transport ecosystem. He further stated that this will have a wide-ranging impact on country’s growth trajectory.
