PM Modi speaks to Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr; assures India’s full support to Philippines’ development

New Delhi, August 05

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held a telephonic conversation with Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and congratulated him for his victory in the presidential election.

He will be the 17th President of the Philippines. Both the leaders reviewed various areas of bilateral engagement, and expressed satisfaction at the rapid growth of co-operation between the two countries in recent years.
