PM Modi to skip Kejriwal’s oath taking ceremony due to prior engagements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not to be attending the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal on February 14 at Ramlila Maidan because of some prior engagements.
Modi will be in Baramati in Maharashtra on February 14. He is schedule to open a scientific research centre here.
In the morning ,Kejriwal, accompanied by senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia met Modi at his official residence, 7 RCR. The leader formally extended an invitation to the Prime Minister for his oath taking ceremony.
Meanwhile, close aide of Anna Hazare, Dadda Awari, said that the social-activist will not attend the swearing-in ceremony of his former protégé despite Delhi’s chief minister-elect personally extending an invitation to him.
Preparations for the swearing-in are already under way at Ramlila Maidan.
Last time, Kejriwal took Metro route to reach the venue for his swearing-in. This time, the AAP leader will skip that mode of transport and is likely to hold a roadshow before the ceremony.
Kejriwal’s AAP decimated the BJP and the Congress by recorded a landslide victory, securing 67 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. The BJP managed to bag only 3 seats.
