PM Modi To Start Monthly Conference Call With State Cheif Secretaries Under Pragati Programme Every fourth Wednesday From Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a monthly conference call with state chief secretaries and secretaries of the Union government from today for the speedy redressal of grievances and monitoring and implementation of projects. It will be through video conferencing.

The new governance programme has been named as Proactive Governance and Timely Implementation, Pragati. The programme will be tied together by technology, with information on projects being available at a click.

The Pragati sessions will take place every fourth Wednesday.

Prime Minister’s principal secretary, Nripendra Misra, had explained the thrust of the initiative in a note to Union secretaries and state chief secretaries last month.
