Political Turmoil In AAP : Kejriwal Refuses To be Drawn int9o Ugly Battle

Aam Aadmi Party’s National Executive will meet tomorrow – Wednesday to discuss the ongoing crisis following criticism by Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav that the party was becoming one person-centric.

The crisis in the party seem to be deepening, as Prashant Bhushan made some negative observations against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

In an interview to a private TV channel aired Tuesday , Bhushan said that Kejriwal thinks that his decision must always prevail. He said personality cult cannot run the party.

Expressing serious concern over the functioning of the party, Bhushan said if Yogendra Yadav and he are removed in Wednesday’s meeting, it will of no consequence to them.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal has expressed his displeasure over the unfolding events in the party. In a tweet, he refused to be drawn into what he called an ugly battle. Kejriwal said that he will concentrate only on Delhi’s governance.

Crisis in the Aam Aadmi Party intensified after Prashant Bhushan, in a letter to the national executive last week, said that the party was slipping into high command culture like other parties where only one person calls the shots.
