Punjab CM drops State Health Minister Vijay Singla from his Cabinet over corruption charges ,

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today dropped Health Minister Vijay Singla from his Cabinet over corruption charges levelled against him. He was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Wing of Punjab Police.
Earlier, revealing the corruption charges against Singla, the Chief Minister recommended the Police to register a case against him. The Chief Minister said that he has taken the decision after knowing that the Minister was allegedly demanding one per cent commission for tenders. In a video message, the CM claimed that Singla had admitted his wrongdoings.
Mr Mann said that AAP has formed the government to provide clean and corruption-free government.
The Mohali Court has granted Police Custody Remand of former Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singla till 27th of May. He was produced in the court after his arrest by Anti-Corruption Wing of Punjab Police.
