Railways delivers nearly 7900 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to various states across country in last 20 days

New Delhii, May 14

Railways has delivered nearly 7900 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to various states across the country in the last 20 days. The Railway Ministry said, Oxygen Expresses have been delivering nearly 800 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to the nation each day for the last few days. The first Oxygen Express for Andhra Pradesh with 40 tonnes and Kerala with 118 tonnes of oxygen are on the way.

The Ministry said, the first Oxygen Express to Tamil Nadu delivered 80 tonnes this morning and the second Oxygen Express is on the way. 130 Oxygen Expresses have completed their journey so far and brought relief to various States.

Railways has so far delivered 462 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to Maharashtra, 2210 tonnes to Uttar Pradesh, 408 tonnes to Madhya pradesh, 2934 tonnes to Delhi, 1228 tonnes to Haryana, 308 tonnes to Telangana, 72 tonnes to Rajasthan, 120 tonnes in Karnataka, 80 tonnes each in Uttarakhand and Tamil Nadu.
