Rajasthan launches LED Home Lighting Scheme

Rajasthan government has started LED home lighting scheme under Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme. It becomes leading state in providing LED bulb to domestic consumers.

Rajasthan government Under Domestic efficient lighting programme will install more than two crore LED Lights across the state.

This would save about Seven hundred thirty four million units of electricity, leading to drop in energy demand. State Electricity companies will also save around two hundred thirty crore rupees yearly.

Under the scheme seven watt high quality LED bulbs will distributed to each house hold at low price. About eighty five lakh domestic electricity consumers would be benefited under the programme and will make Rajasthan leading state in energy efficiency.
