Rajya Sabha To Meet From April 23 To May 13

Rajya Sabha will meet on the 23rd of this month. A Rajya Sabha press release said, the session of the Upper House will continue till 13th of next month.

President Pranab Mukherjee has accepted the recommendation of Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs in this regard.

Earlier, the second part of the Rajya Sabha session was prorogued by the President paving the way for the re-promulgation of Land Acquisition Ordinance. The Lok Sabha will resume proceedings from 20th of this month as per schedule after a month long recess.
