Ram Niwas Goyal elected as Speaker Delhi Assembly, Najib Jung to Address House Tuesday

Ram Niwas Goyal of the Aam Aadmi Party has been elected unanimously as the Speaker of the Delhi Assembly. Vandana Kumari is the Deputy Speaker. This was announced by pro tem Speaker Fateh Singh in the House Monday . The first session of the sixth Delhi Legislative Assembly began today . The house would sit for two days during the short session . The Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung will address the House tomorrow- Tuesday. Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and their cabinet colleagues took oath as members of the House. The Aam Aadmi Party has bagged 67 seats and BJP three in the 70-member House.
