Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his 43rd birthday

Former Indian cricket team captain and Member of Rajya Sabha Sachin Tendulkar Sunday celebrated his 43rd birthday by playing cricket with children from the ‘Make-A-Wish-India’ organisation at MIG club, Bandra in western suburb.

Bharat Ratna awardee Sachin Tendulkar spent some time with the children, teaching them the basics of batting, bowling and fielding at the Club. He posted the same on his official Facebook page. Sachin retired from the cricket in November 2013.

He is the leading run-scorer in Tests and ODIs. Sachin is the only cricketer to have hit 100 international centuries, and the first to score a double century in ODIs.

He gets well wishes from the people of all walks of life, including former Indian captain and long-time teammate Anil Kumble, Shikhar Dhawan, BCCI members, Bollywood personalities like Big B Amitabh Bachchan and others.
