Saina enters round two of Yonex Sunrise India Open

India’s ace badminton player Saina Nehwal thrashed Chinese Taipei’s Lee Chia Hsin 21-10, 21-17 in the first round of the Yonex Sunrise India Open World super series at Siri Fort sports complex here today.

Saina ranked 8th in the world ranking while her opponent Lee 39th didn’t let the Chinese Taipei settle throughout the game.

Saina is the two time winner of India Open in 2010 and 2015.In the first game, Saina played confidently gaining 7-5 lead against Lee Chia completely dominating the game with smashes and quick net plays and didnt let her opponent come back in the game winning the game 21-10.

In the second game, both the players played competitive as started attacking each other levelling the score 7-7, but Saina managed to cover the baseline and controlled her shots.Saina’s showed good footwork and blocked Chinese Taipei’s drives lead 112.

Again outstanding footwork by Saina as she successfully blocks Lee Chia’s drives. She leads 17-12 now and steals the game from her opponent and emerges victorious 21-17.

Saina played brilliantly throughout the match, while Lee was upset most of the times by Saina’s low cross court punches making her opponent to stretch out.
