Saina in All England Championships quarters

World number three Saina Nehwal stormed into the quarter-finals of the All England Badminton Championships after beating Busanan Ongbumrungphan 21-16 21-9 in straight sets here Thursday.

The second seeded Indian shuttler, who made a comeback after being injured, beat Canada’s Michelle Li 21-17, 21-12 in the opening round before defeating Busanan in just 41 minutes of the second round match.

With this win, Saina now has a 3-0 career record against the Thai player.
