Sasikala’s vow has come true : TN CM Palananiswami on winning trust vote

Elated and relieved after winning the floor test in the Assembly, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said AIADMK General Secretary V K Sasikala’s vow has come true and asserted that his victory has shown who the real supporters of ‘Amma’ are.

He also said he would strive to make ‘Amma’s and MGR’s dreams a reality.
Talking to reporters after paying homage at the memorials of former Chief Ministers, J Jayalalithaa, MGR and Anna on the Marina beach front after winning the confidence vote, he said “people of Tamil Nadu are happy” now that he has established a majority.

”Amma’s rule has been established”, he added.
”Chinnamma’s (Sasikala) vow has come true. We will make Amma’s and MGR’s dreams a reality,” he said.

”Everybody watched how the rival faction (OPS camp) worked against the Amma’s government.

”This day has shown who are the real Amma supporters”, he added.

Two days after he was sworn in by the Governor, Mr Palaniswami,amid high drama in the Assembly, won the trust vote, with 122 MLAs voting in his favour and the 11 rebel MLAs against him, and proved his majority.
