Saving Energy Is A Form of Patriotism , PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the Centre is making speedy efforts to tackle the problem of power shortage in the country.

Dedicating the first phase of 1200 Megawatt capacity Shri Singaji Thermal Power Project at Dongliya village in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, he said the government is working on all the resources of power.

He said, the Centre has signed civil nuclear pact with the USA and Australia.

Explaining concern over the fact that still 20 percent people of the country don’t have energy in their houses. Modi also called upon the people to save energy for the future.

He said that it is also a form of patriotism. Modi also attacked the then UPA government on coal block allocation. He said that one lakh eleven thousand crore rupees have been gathered after auction of 19 coal blocks.

PM also laid foundation stone for the second phase of the project.
