Sharda Chit Fund Scam : CBI Asks TMC To Furnish Five Years Financial Transaction

CBI has issued notice to the ruling Trinamool congress of West Bengal regarding its financial transactions.

The CBI has asked the party’s All India General Secretary .Subrata Bakshi to furnish records regarding its income and expenditure since the year of 2010.

According to CBI sources, it has also asked the party to submit report regarding earnings by selling the paintings of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The investigating agency earlier issued notice to the former Party General Secretary .Mukul Roy on the issue.

The step taken by the CBI came following allegations that the party has financially gained from different chit fund companies particularly Sharda group. CBI is currently probing the Sharda Chit Fund scam.

Ruling Trinamool Congress has said that the centre initiated the action against them as they are opposing Land Bill.
