Shiv Sena Defends Minister Girish Mahajan Carrying Revolver To A Programme
01 April, Mumbai
The Shiv Sena came down heavily on opposition for objecting against a Maharashtra Minister for carrying a revolver to an event.
In the editorial of its mouthpiece Saamana, Sena questioned that what is there to object if Minister Girish Mahajan took a revolver for a program.
The editorial said that since the opposition does not have much work to do, they are only left with objecting and asking questions.
Mahajan said that he has a licenced weapon and has been using it for self defence since past 20 years.
Sena backed Mahajan by saying that he just carried a revolver, unlike the earlier rulers who used it for other purpose. Sena accused that earlier Maharashtra was a state of goons.
