Special Task Force Begins Probe Into Engineers Killing In Darbhanga

The special task force(STF) constituted in the aftermath of gruesome killing of two engineers in Darbhanga Saturday began its probe into the gory incident which sent shockwaves across the state.

STF superintendent of Police Shivdeep Lande with his team reached Darbhanga this morning and inspected the spot where the two engineers of a private road construction company were gunned down in broad day light by four motorcycle borne criminals near village shivram under Baheri police station.

Even as the probe gathered momentum, the axe fell on Baheri police station in-charge Rama Shanker Singh who was suspended on the charges of criminal negligence as he had ordered withdrawal of five jawans of Bihar military police who had been deployed after the companys project in-charge Devesh Rathore informed the police about extortion threat being received by the criminals
