Spurious Liquor Claims13 Lives In Bihar’s Goplaganj

At least thirteen people have died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Bihar’s Gopalganj district since Tuesday night.

However, District Magistrate Rahul Kumar claimed that it was not hooch tragedy and a three member team had been constituted to probe the causes of death.

The victims consumed liquor in Harkhua Khajurbani locality under town police station on Tuesday night.

Soon they started complaining of abdominal pain and a few of them also started vomiting.

The victims were rushed to government hospital where six people died during treatment.

Four other victims were rushed to hospitals in nearby Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh by the family members apprehending their arrest.
