Spying On Neetaji ‘s Family Row : Snooping Is In DNA Of Congress – BJP

BJP Friday said media reports about spying on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s family by the then Jawaharlal Nehru government shows that snooping is in the DNA of Congress.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party leader and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that it is shocking that the then Congress government snooped on Subhash Chandra Bose’s family at a time when it was not even clear whether he was alive or not.

She said there are many incidents of snooping of important persons during Congress rule.

Ms. Sitharaman also rejected Congress allegations that it is a propaganda of BJP government to malign national icons, saying the accusation does not have any substance.

An English daily today reported that the Nehru government spied on Netaji’s family for nearly two decades from 1948 to 1968.
