India lost to Malaysia by a solitary goal, in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup tournament, at Ipoh,Malaysia Friday.
Indian players tried very hard to conjure up a decent attack till the end but they failed to do so. Earlier, Great Britain defeated New Zealand 3-2 in their last league fixture.

India had a plus-two goal difference that was they scored 10 goals and 8 goals were scored against them. The hosts, Malaysia, had lost three of their previous four matches after starting with a draw against Japan.
