Swain Flu Claims Ten More Lives In Maharashtra , Toll Rises To 385

The death toll due to swine flu has risen to 385 since January this year, with ten more patients succumbing to the disease in Maharashtra in last 24 hours.

According to the State Health Department, 44 new patients across the state have tested positive for H1N1 in last 24 hours, taking the total number of swine flu affected cases in the state to 4384.

Of these, 1661 cases are reported from Mumbai, 1148 cases are from Pune and 526 cases are from Nagpur.

Meanwhile, 51 more swine flu positive patients have been treated successfully and discharged from various hospitals in the state, thus the total number of patients treated successfully till date since January this year stands at 3689.
